Trinity’s Community Lunch Program is part of a city-wide ecumenical effort that provides a hot lunch for about 100 area residents on Mondays through Fridays. Meals are healthy and nutritious, prepared and served by both church members and other volunteers from across the community. Desserts — always enjoyed — are made fresh each week.
The Community Lunch program is currently housed at Christ Episcopal Church on State St. in Montpelier. Each day (our day is Thursday!) representatives from a different faith community gather to prepare and serve the meal to anyone who comes. It is called Community Lunch and not a “soup kitchen” because it’s so much more than a place to get a hot meal. We like to think of it as a place where everyone can share a meal and enjoy some friendly company. All are welcome!
Join us for Monday through Friday at 11:30 – 12:00 (a small donation is appreciated but never required).
