Trinity United Methodist Church exists through the gifts of time, money and other resources committed to creating spaces where all are embraced by the love of God, and where we help all with their spiritual, emotional, and physical needs. This includes those who are regular participants in the ministry of this church and anyone else who simply supports what we are trying to do in the community.
You can help in the following ways:
Financial Giving
We know that the church in general is sometimes criticized for just being concerned about money, and we hesitate to ask. Yet, operating our building, paying our staff, and supporting our work in the community requires financial support. You can make a tax-deductible gift to the church in the following ways:
- Send a check with any designation you may have regarding the spending in the memo section to Trinity UMC, 137 Main St. Montpelier, VT 05602. Checks without a designation will be deposited to our general fund.

Giving of Time and Energy
We regularly need volunteers to assist with our services to the community. That includes:
- Volunteering to cook, serve and clean at the Thursday Community Meal at Christ Episcopal.
- Assisting with preparing food for Good Samaritan Haven, our regional homeless shelter.
- Helping with building maintenance.
